Below is every thing you will need to know to get started at HappyFeet

We do things a little different at happy feet as we believe dance should be about enjoyment not just for the children attending dance classes, but also the parents.
We won't make you pay a full term in advance unless you want,, we know it can be hard to make it every week with kids especially when they are just starting, although once they fall in love with dance it's hard to keep them away. We know how quick our children grow so you don't have to buy expensive dance shoes and uniforms, Although they are available should you want to. However when they get a bit more serious and want to join in one of our concerts they will need uniforms, costumes and shoes, Again to keep the cost down for our parents we have a shoe lady that gives our students great prices and we even have second hand shoes available as most children grow out of them before there worn in.
We have all our prices and things to consider  laid out for you, or call Lyn if you have any questions.

You will have to fill out an enrollment form and pay either your
$25 new enrollment fee ($40 for 2 in one family, $50 for 3 or more in one family), this is a once a year cost.
or $12 renewal if you are a past student ($20 for 2 in one family, $30 for 3 or more in one family)

decide which dance classes you wish to do. you are able to change this over the next couple of weeks... We just need you to inform the coordinator at the desk of any changes.

most other studios make you pay by the term
please help us to keep this system working by paying on time each week. We do also ask that you pay for the classes that you have chosen before your first class.

There is a 10% discount for, families

paying by the term, if you pay a term fee you will receive a 10% discount. (there is no further discount on c.m.i) this must be paid by the Saturday of the week you commence. please note if paying by cheque or credit card the student's name must be written on the cheque or sales voucher.
There is a 3% charge on all credit card transactions.

You can purchase your happy feet shirt, hot pants, other dance wear and stockings (all optional - ...these will be available at each studio over the next few weeks. students can wear their own comfortable (neat and clean) clothing, as well as shoes that stay on their feet.
All children must have footwear on, again comfy shoes that stay on their feet is all we ask.
Our very own dance shoes lady "Deborah" will visits Burleigh and Pacific Pines studios regularly with top quality, affordable dance shoes, should you wish to buy some.


Although it is not compulsary you should plan to attend regularly as the student will get the maximum benefit from regular attendance.Regular attendance also means the teachers will get to know the student and be able to do their job better. As the parent/ family member, please come to classes as often as possible to encourage and enjoy your child's experience. We only ask that you do not disrupt the class in any way. We all like to talk with other parents, but it can get hard for the kids to concentrate so please go outside to talk. If you have other children, please supervise them at all times.

We hand out newsletters and notes each week so please check with the coordinator as they contain important information including any changes etc.

Cathy's "count me in" club

This is by invitation. However we welcome your application.
students must attend one week day and the "Super Saturday" program. Some students wish to attend several days a week which is encouraged.

private lessons

private lessons are a great way to improve and polish your skills in dance and singing. you can discuss with your teacher the possibility of a solo/duo that you can perform at eisteddfods if you wish.
